RSDS HOPE (Helping Other People Endure) of Wisconsin, Inc. brings hope to others that have RSDS and their families and friends. It was formed in 1995 when Orvel Horward's road to recovery was becoming more apparant. RSDS HOPE is a non-profit organization that concentrates on increasing awareness of the RSDS community and beyond. 40 members strong, including members accross the United States, RSDS HOPE has grown not only in numbers, but in heart. RSDS HOPE holds a local monthly support group meeting to share thoughts, discuss alternatives and ideas, and most of all, to listen.

Orvel Howard, President and founder of RSDS HOPE, wanted to share his knowledge of RSDS and to let other patients accross the country know that they are not alone. Most importantly, Orvel wanted to bring hope. He started this goup in an effort to share his experiences of recovery and let others who suffer from this syndrome understand that there are successful courses of treatment to bring them relief.
